Svitlana

Volunteer

Hello! My name is Svitlana. I’m originally from Ukraine. I have a wonderful family — a loving husband and two amazing children. In my younger years, I was active in sports and proud to be a running champion in Ukraine. These days, I stay home to care for my children. We enjoy spending time together, especially walking in the park and exploring nature. I’m also learning English and working to improve every day. One of the most important things in my life is helping others. I volunteer at Maria's Food & Pantry Foundation, where I support families in need. Volunteering brings me joy — it gives me strength and purpose. I truly believe in kindness, compassion, and the power of community. When we work together, we can make a big difference in people’s lives.

Craig Goddard

Volunteer

Hi there. My name is Craig Goddard, and I volunteer with Maria’s Food Pantry. I have volunteered here since the beginning of December 2024. I enjoy working with people and lending a hand whenever I get the chance. In my professional life, I enjoy owning a small manufacturing business that I run, where I work on new concept machining projects and light production work. If you see me around, feel free to come by and say hi. I don’t bite.

Jackie Oranchuck

Chairperson

My name is Jackie Oranchuck, a Domestic Engineer with a lifetime of hands-on experience. I proudly wear the title of Domestic Engineer. I specialize in time management, child development, interpersonal communication, and financial skills—all honed over decades of dedication and service. I’m known for working independently, consulting with families, and handling life’s many moving pieces with grace and heart.

Soon to celebrate 54 wonderful years of marriage, I bring not only experience but also deep care and compassion into everything I do. It’s been both a pleasure and an honour to be a big part of Maria’s Food & Pantry Foundation, helping to serve and uplift our community.

Affectionately known as “The Perogies Lady,” I also share my passion for baking and cooking through our fundraising efforts—because nothing brings people together like good food and a generous heart.
