I’m struggling with my physical health and can’t work enough to pay rent and bills, so food is the last thing I try and buy when possible. But it has been very hard since the rent was increased. Our Founder
Maria started the Food & Pantry Foundation in 2016 with just 75 people and a heart full of purpose. Drawing from her own experiences as an immigrant and someone facing health challenges, she built a community-powered movement that now supports thousands of families across Calgary with food, compassion, and care.
